Scott is a Gooniyandi person from Muladja, a community outside of Fitzroy Crossing, but spent most of his life with the Yawuru people in Broome, Western Australia. Scott grew up in a small town, surrounded by friends and family affected by drugs & alcohol, violence and crime, and furthermore, self-harm and deaths. Scott took it upon himself to not be a statistic, and strive, when he was only taught to survive.

Since finishing high school in Perth, Scott has gone on to complete a Bachelor of Anthropology, work for the Prime Minister and cabinet while being a national ambassador for HeadSpace.
